唯一無二
唯一無二（ゆいいつむに // one and only; one of a kind; unique）
The word 唯一無二 is used to express that something is unique, one of a kind, the one and only, etc.
An example:
ペレはサッカー界で唯一無二の存在だ。
ペレ は サッカーかい で ゆいいつむに の そんざい だ。
In the world of soccer, Pelé is one of a kind. // In soccer, there's only one Pelé.
Literally: “Pelé + は + soccer + -world + で + one of a kind + の + existence / being + だ.”
Kanji by kanji, we have:
唯 (solely)
一 (one)
無 (nothingness)
二 (two)
So if something is "only one" and "not two," it is "one of a kind." It is "the one and only."
Makes sense, yeah?
Another example:
ここは超能力が学べる唯一無二の学校です。
ここ は ちょうのうりょく が まなべる ゆいいつむに の がっこう です。
This is the only school in existence where you can learn supernatural abilities.
